Quality is good, no doubt about that. Delivery times OK, from Hong Kong. Only downside, and it is a design not a supply issue, is that like several cases for the Leica Q2, it cannot be opened to get the SD card out: the case has to be removed altogether.

A tragic experience. On first inspection, the case is of good quality and workmanship. But upon fitting it to the Q2, the bottom plate cut-out for battery access is entirely inadequate. Neither the switch to release the battery can be fully turned nor can the battery freely exit. And it’s not even very close. The cut-out in the aluminum needs to be, at least, a fifth to a quarter of an inch longer at both ends. Clearly the manufacturer never fitted the case to the camera to ‘clearly’ see the mismatch. Now… a dilemma. Return it? Or — with an extended effort with a hand file — try to shave off no small amount of aluminum to increase the opening? I will probably try the latter. But for a case of this value, one should not have to perform strenuous surgery on the product to get it to fit, ultimately in a bedraggled lesser state.

Great case that fits the camera perfectly! Much better than the Leica own branded case as it has easy access to battery and SD card!
